Hi Folks,
Momentum is starting to build, as we continue to garner names of fellow Orindans eager to regain the former quiet of our neighborhoods! Here is a partial list of very informative websites; you’ll glean tons of helpful info about how other communities have dealt with their noise issues.

http://zapla.org/index.html  : the best all-around site for information about leaf blower pollution and how to enact laws to ban the use of leaf blowers. http://members.cox.net/leafblower/  (a site sponsored by leaf blower manufacturer Echo, replete with useful articles intended to support sales of lower-noise leafblowers but still very informative. The site’s author, Larry Will, formerly was a VP at Echo, and now works as a consultant for them and others. His ambition is to “educate” opponents of leaf blower noise and pollution,  and to water-down  (if not defeat) efforts to ban their use.
